Finance Administrator

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support finance and property management tasks for a real estate/property management business.
This role is ideal for someone with strong finance or accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
About the Role
The Finance Administrator will assist with finance administration, commercial property expense reconciliations, lease-related expense reviews, general ledger checks, reporting support, and maintaining accurate records.
The role requires someone who can work carefully with financial information, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with property managers or internal tea
Key Responsibilities
Prepare annual and ad hoc OPEX reconciliations for commercial properties.
Review lease provisions to identify recoverable and non-recoverable expenses.
Analyse general ledger transactions and supporting financial information.
Allocate expenses accurately based on lease terms.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, missing details, or anomalies.
Coordinate with Property Managers or tea
Prepare reconciliation working papers that meet audit and client requirements.
Ensure all reconciliations are completed within agreed deadlines.
Maintain accurate electronic records and filing systems.
Provide general finance and administration support as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 1 year of finance or accounting experience.
Experience in real estate, property management, or commercial property finance is preferred.
A degree or background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience preparing OPEX reconciliations is highly preferred.
Understanding of commercial leases and recoverable operating expenses is an advantage.
Required Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Comfortable using different software applications.
Experience with property management software is a plus.
