WordPress Web Designer / Developer (Divi 5)
We're looking for an experienced WordPress Web Designer / Developer with strong commercial experience using Divi 5 to join our team.

This role is suited to someone who takes pride in producing clean, well-structured websites with a strong focus on performance, maintainability and attention to detail. We build bespoke WordPress websites that make extensive use of Divi 5's latest functionality, dynamic content and custom development, so we're looking for someone who enjoys building scalable solutions rather than simply assembling pages.

Key Responsibilities
• Build high-quality, responsive WordPress websites using Divi 5.
• Convert supplied designs into pixel-perfect webpages.
• Create reusable Theme Builder templates and design systems.
• Develop dynamic websites using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types and Taxonomies.
• Implement responsive layouts using CSS Grid and Flexbox.
• Produce clean, organised and maintainable website structures.
• Optimise websites for speed, performance and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot layout, styling and functionality issues.
• Work closely with our team to deliver projects to a consistently high standard.

• Has excellent attention to detail across desktop, tablet and mobile layouts.
• Can work independently while communicating effectively with the team.

Technical Assessment

Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a practical assessment which may include:

• Building a responsive webpage from a supplied design.
• Demonstrating the use of Variable Manager.
• Creating reusable Global Presets.
• Building a Custom Post Type with ACF fields.
• Creating a dynamic Theme Builder template using ACF content.
• Implementing responsive layouts using CSS Grid and Flexbox.
• Demonstrating a clean, organised and maintainable build structure.
• Explaining the reasoning behind technical decisions, including where native functionality has been used instead of additional plugins.
