About the role
We're a small remote team running a DTC e-commerce store selling to English-speaking markets. No layers of management, no meetings for the sake of meetings — decisions get made the same day. We're looking for one person to take real ownership of the day-to-day: customer service, ads support, content, and the small store fixes that pile up.
If you like moving fast and figuring things out yourself, you'll fit in. If you need someone checking in on you every hour, you won't.
What you'll do:
Customer service (daily)
Answer customer
Handle escalations calmly and keep response times under 24 hours
Spot recurring questions and turn them into templates and FAQ updates
Social media management (Meta Business Suite)
Schedule and publish posts across
Manage the inbox and comments — reply, hide, flag what needs attention
Keep profiles, bios and pinned content up to date
Pull basic performance data (reach, engagement, follower growth) into a simple weekly overview
Content creation with AI
Produce simple social content for Instagram, TikTok and
Write short captions and hooks in clean, natural English
Repurpose existing winning content into new variations
Store & light tech
Small Shopify theme adjustments: swap images, edit text, fix a broken section, adjust a bundle or landing page
Add and update products, variants, collections, pricing
Basic troubleshooting before it reaches the founder
Admin & ops
Order tracking, fulfilment follow-ups, supplier and 3PL communication
Keep spreadsheets and trackers up to date
Follow and improve our SOPs — document what you do so the next person can do it too
What you must have
Proven e-commerce experience — you've worked inside a real store before (Shopify preferred)
Meta Business Suite experience — you can schedule posts, work the inbox and pull basic stats without a tutorial
Hands-on with AI tools for content creation — experience with Claude strongly preferred, plus image and video generators
Comfortable making small theme edits — you're not scared of a bit of HTML/Liquid or a page builder
Excellent written and spoken English — customers will read your
Reliable internet, own computer, and overlap with European working hours
Organised, proactive, and able to work without being chased
Nice to have
Klaviyo, Loox, or similar tools
Basic design skills (Canva, Figma)
Experience with subscription apps

Starting rate: $3/hour. This is a starting point, not a ceiling — prove yourself and you get a raise quickly, not after a year of waiting
Performance review after 90 days, with further raises tied to results
Real responsibility and room to grow into a lead role
