Draftsman / CAD Technician – Architectural

Good Glowie is a Singapore-based drafting consultancy. We partner with local engineering consultancy firms to produce quality, submission-standard architectural drawings for Singapore Authorities. We are expanding our team and welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in the Philippines who prefer to work remotely while contributing to Singapore building projects.

Onboarding:
First 2 months (probation): regular Zoom check-ins with our Singapore team. No travel required.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (SGT / PHT — same time zone, no adjustment needed)

Key Responsibilities:
Produce submission-standard architectural drawings compliant with Singapore Authority requirements
Prepare fire safety building plans, Apply GFA (Gross Floor Area) calculations per Singapore standards, etc
Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and authority requirements
Coordinate with Singapore-based engineering consultancy partners and project teams via Zoom, email, and project management tools
Prepare drawing packages for Singapore authority submissions (SCDF, BCA, URA)
Maintain drawing registers, revision control logs, and documentation records


Requirements:
Architecture-related background (diploma/degree or equivalent working experience)
Relevant experience in architectural CAD/drafting for building or construction projects
Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience is a definite advantage
Working knowledge of Singapore GFA requirements
Able to design fire safety building plans
Prior experience working with Singapore clients
Comfortable working remotely and communicating with a cross-border team
Reliable home office or co-working space setup with stable internet connection
Able to work independently, well-organised, and attentive to detail
Familiarity with Singapore authority submission processes is a plus (training provided)

Work Arrangement:
Type: Freelance / Contract
Pay: Up to SGD $650/month
Probation: 2 months
