We are an innovative and fast-growing brand looking for a talented Data Scientist with strong GoHighLevel (GHL) expertise and sharp research skills to join our team. If you excel at turning data into actionable insights, have hands-on experience building and optimizing workflows within GHL, and enjoy digging deep to uncover answers, we want to hear from you!
As our Data Scientist, you'll take the lead in analyzing data, building models, and delivering insights that inform strategy across the business. You'll also work closely with our marketing and operations teams to leverage GHL data for smarter decision-making, making this position ideal for someone who blends technical analysis with strong research instincts.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Modeling
Collect, clean, and analyze data from GHL and other business systems to identify trends and opportunities.
Build predictive models and dashboards that support strategic decision-making.
Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
GHL Systems & Research
Leverage GoHighLevel to track, report on, and optimize campaign and pipeline performance.
Conduct in-depth research to answer open-ended business questions, validate hypotheses, and support new initiatives.
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices relevant to data science and marketing automation.
Collaboration & Reporting
Partner with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and reporting needs.
Present findings clearly in written reports and verbal updates.
Monitor ongoing performance and flag opportunities for optimization.
Skills & Experience
GHL Expertise: Hands-on experience working within GoHighLevel, including reporting, automation, and pipeline data (mandatory).
Research Skills: Strong ability to independently investigate questions, synthesize information from multiple sources, and draw sound conclusions.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel/Google Sheets) and data visualization platforms.
Availability: Able to work core hours of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous, thorough approach to data quality and accuracy.
Application Task
Imagine you've been given access to a GHL account for a mid-sized service business and asked to identify why lead conversion rates have dropped over the past quarter. In 3-5 sentences, describe how you would approach this investigation. What data would you pull first, what research steps would you take to form a hypothesis, and how would you validate your findings before presenting them to leadership?
How to Apply
Please send your resume, examples of relevant data analysis or research work, and a brief cover letter explaining why you're the perfect fit for this role. Include "Data" in your subject line to confirm you've read the entire posting.
