JOB OVERVIEW

Canva, Lightroom Classic, Data Entry , Ai, Chat GPT and Online Business Support jack of all trades VA :)

I am looking for a dependable, creative, and detail-oriented virtual assistant to support my growing school photography and online education businesses.

This will begin as a four-month part-time partnership, with the potential to develop into a longer-term position for the right person. My business is growing, and I would love to find someone who is excited to learn, take ownership of their work, and grow alongside me as the role expands.

About the Business

I own a family-operated school photography company in Florida. We photograph schools, preschools, dance studios, and other organizations. I am also building an online education business that teaches photographers how to enter the school photography industry and create more freedom and stability in their businesses.

This role will include a combination of creative work, administrative support, photo editing, and helping me organize and build new resources for my students.

Initial Responsibilities

Your tasks may include:
• Designing polished Canva graphics for static social media posts, ads
• Creating worksheets, onboarding roadmaps, PDFs, checklists, and other student resources
• Data entry and organizing information in spreadsheets, canva designs
• Assisting with school photography administrative tasks
• Learning GotPhoto (photo platform for schools) and eventually helping with gallery setup, roster information, QR codes, and other backend tasks
• Basic Editing of school portraits and other photography work in Lightroom Classic (must be able to handle volume)
• Following established editing styles and maintaining consistency across large batches of images
• Organizing files, resources, and business systems
• Helping with additional creative and operational projects as the businesses grow

The Right Person
You may be a great fit if you:
• Have experience editing photos in Lightroom Classic
• Have a good eye for clean, attractive, and cohesive design
• Are comfortable using Canva
• Are highly organized and pay close attention to details
• Can follow instructions carefully and also think independently
• Communicate clearly when you have questions or need clarification
• Meet deadlines and provide updates without needing to be repeatedly reminded
• Are comfortable learning new software and systems
• Are interested in a position that could grow in responsibilities and hours over time
• Care about doing excellent work, even on repetitive tasks

I am not looking for someone who rushes through tasks simply to finish them. I am looking for someone thoughtful, reliable, and interested in becoming a trusted part of the business.

Hours and Compensation

This is a part-time independent contractor position beginning with a four-month commitment.
Starting pay is $5–$7 USD per hour (number of hours to be determined), depending on experience and skill level.

There will be an opportunity to review compensation as your skills, independence, and responsibilities within the business grow.

The position will begin with a small paid trial project so we can both make sure the partnership feels like a good fit.

Most working hours can be flexible, but you must be reliable about agreed-upon deadlines and available for occasional communication during Florida business hours.

How to Apply

Please include the following in your application:
A short introduction about yourself and why this position interests you
Your experience with Lightroom Classic, Canva, graphic design, data entry, and virtual-assistant work
Examples of Canva designs, PDFs, social media graphics, or other creative work you have completed

The word “Grow” at the beginning of your application so I know you read the entire post

Please be honest about the skills you already have and the areas where you would need training. I do not expect one person to be an expert in everything. Reliability, attention to detail, creativity, communication, and a willingness to learn are extremely important to me.

I am excited to find someone who wants more than a collection of random tasks and would enjoy becoming an important part of a growing creative business.
