JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Manager with strong expertise in Primavera P6 to oversee and manage the planning, development, and maintenance of project schedules across multiple large-scale construction projects. The Scheduling Manager will ensure accurate, transparent, and proactive scheduling to support project delivery, mitigate risks, and drive on-time completion in line with company and client requirements.

Schedule Development & Maintenance
• Create, maintain, and update baseline schedules in Primavera P6 for all phases of construction (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Integrate subcontractor schedules and validate alignment with the project’s master schedule.
• Perform “what-if” and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
• Schedule Control & Reporting
• Monitor project progress, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide weekly/monthly schedule updates, dashboards, and reports for project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contract scheduling requirements (e.g., USACE, state, and owner-specific requirements).
• Coordination & Communication
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure accurate schedule inputs.
• Lead schedule review meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Communicate schedule impacts, risks, and recovery strategies clearly and effectively.
• Risk & Claims Management
• Identify schedule risks and delays and provide mitigation strategies.
• Support preparation of time-impact analyses (TIA) for claims, change orders, and delay justifications.
• Maintain documentation to support contractual entitlement related to schedule impacts.
• Continuous Improvement
• Develop and maintain scheduling best practices, templates, and procedures.
• Train and mentor project engineers and tea ---------- mbers in P6 scheduling techniques.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of scheduling experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years of direct Primavera P6 experience.
• Proven track record managing schedules on large-scale vertical and/or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, sequencing, and critical path methodology (CPM).
• Familiarity with scheduling standards and requirements (e.g., USACE, DoD, state-level public projects) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with earned value management (EVM) and resource/cost loading in P6.
• Knowledge of claims analysis and dispute resolution support.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
