Construction Estimator

Looking for someone to take voice details with a hand sketch and turn those details in to a drawing that can be then estimated from. This individual will be responsible for the drawing and the estimate.

Once the drawing is complete, you can the upload the drawing (if necessary) into Job Tread and utilize the takeoff function to create your estimate. You will utilize Job Tread to create an estimate in order to send a proposal to a customer. Within Job Tread you can populate preloaded pricing from Home Depot, and utilize pre established margins. You will work with our office to establish this process so that an estimate can be turned around in less than 48 hrs. We also utilize a software called Xactimate that will provide you a baseline of time needed to create individual processes. Xactimate will also help produce a full list of materials needed.

When not utilizing your estimate skills, we will be building out the price catalog within Jobtread and creating templates to further streamline the process. Ultimately allowing us to input parameters that correlate with formulas to auto populate material need and labor hours.

This will be a full time position and will grow into a position that has other members on its team in order to maintain a 48 hr turn time.

Projects are residential and light commercial.

Assume the bathroom is gutted to the studs with no structural repairs needed. A tiled shower will be installed in the bathroom with a tiled floor. We use Schluter for waterproofing.
