Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Internal Team Lead & Client Account Manager to serve as the critical link between our clients and our virtual assistant team. This multifaceted role combines client relationship management, team oversight, HR support, and business development into a single high-impact position. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator and natural leader who thrives in a dynamic, people-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and new clients, ensuring satisfaction with VA performance and service quality.
- Proactively identify and resolve client concerns before they escalate.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships to deeply understand client business needs.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and upsell additional support to existing clients.
VA Team Oversight (HR Focus)
- Support VAs in navigating challenges they face with clients, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
- Address HR-related concerns including conflict resolution, scheduling, and team communication.
- Provide coaching and professional development support to VAs to strengthen client relationships.
- Monitor team morale and performance, escalating concerns when necessary.
Operations & Reporting
- Ensure internal systems, processes, and workflows are functioning efficiently.
- Regularly report on team and client performance, identifying trends and implementing data-driven improvements.
- Maintain clear documentation of client accounts, VA assignments, and issue resolutions.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proven experience in account management or client relationship management – MUST
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or supporting teams
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills – MUST
- Ability to handle HR-related concerns including conflict resolution and scheduling
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive issue resolution mindset
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours and on weekends when clients or VAs need urgent support
Preferred Skills:
- Experience managing virtual teams or working with remote professionals
- Familiarity with CRM tools and performance tracking systems
- Background in recruitment, HR, or people management
- Sales or upselling experience in a service-oriented environment
- Willingness to work night shifts is a significant advantage
