Video Editor Needed for Nostalgic Wii YouTube Channel

Hi! I run a YouTube channel called Wii Explained, focused on nostalgic and entertaining videos about the Nintendo Wii, Wii channels, Wii accessories, knockoffs, and other retro gaming topics.

I’m looking for a video editor who can closely match my current editing style and help improve it even more.

What I’m looking for

You need to be able to:

Recreate the exact style of my current videos
Edit for high retention, not just basic cuts
Understand English voice-over clearly and match visuals to what is being said
Have a strong sense of visual rhythm and pacing
Add smooth moving images, zooms, effects, pop-ups, transitions, and visual jokes
Make the video feel nostalgic, clean, and entertaining
Keep the edit flowing so viewers don’t get bored

I especially want more moving visuals and effects like in the first 30 seconds of my newest video, “The Weirdest Wii Channels”, but even smoother and more polished.

Assets I will provide

I will provide:

The full voice-over
Some Wii images and video clips when needed
My Mii mascot in different poses
Notes about the video style and structure

We can discuss whether you will also help search for extra images/videos yourself. Some Wii footage or images may be provided by me because they need to be accurate or untouched.

Style

The videos should feel:

Nostalgic
Funny, but not over-edited
Smooth and easy to watch
Similar to my current channel style
Focused on viewer retention

This is not just basic editing. I need someone who understands timing, movement, and how to make a voice-over visually interesting.

Requirements
Must understand English well
Must understand what the voice-over is saying
Must be able to match visuals to the script
Must be able to follow an existing style closely
Experience with YouTube editing is preferred
Retro gaming / Nintendo / Wii knowledge is a plus
Budget

My budget is $25–$50 per video, negotiable depending on quality, speed, and how much work you can take off my hands.

I’m looking to produce around 1 video per week, so this can become long-term work if we work well together.
