YouTube Video Editor — Trading/Finance Niche

We run a trading education brand with 170K+ subscribers on our Korean YouTube channel. Our English channel (6K subscribers, growing fast) needs a skilled editor who understands the trading and finance space.

What You'll Do

Edit 1 video per week (8–12 min) for our English YouTube channel
Content ranges from trading psychology and mindset to technical chart analysis — you should be comfortable editing both styles
We provide: completed Korean video as reference, English voiceover, timestamped script, and brand assets (logo, colors, fonts, intro/outro)
You re-edit the content in a global YouTube style — fast cuts, retention hooks, dynamic text, modern sound design

Deliver 1080p or 4K MP4 (H.264) + Premiere Pro project file
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Expert in Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
Strong motion graphics and text animation skills
Portfolio includes at least 1 trading/finance YouTube video you edited (live YouTube link required, not just a demo reel)
Proven track record of meeting deadlines — this is a hard requirement
Nice to Have

TradingView screen recording & chart annotation experience
Basic technical analysis knowledge (Bollinger Bands, support/resistance, candlestick patterns)
Experience with NASDAQ futures, forex, or crypto content
Familiar with channels like Rayner Teo, The Trading Channel, Craig Percoco, The Trading Geek (Brad Goh), Umar Punjabi, SMB Capital, Humbled Trader
Thumbnail design skills
Compensation & Opportunity This is a paid test project: $300–$400 for 1 video (50% upfront, 50% on delivery).

If you deliver on time with the quality we expect, this leads directly to:

Weekly recurring work — 1 video/week, every week
Multiple videos/week as we scale
Long-term contract with rate increases
We are not looking for a one-time editor. We are looking for a long-term production partner.

?? Deadline Policy We operate on a zero-tolerance deadline policy. The test project has a fixed 72-hour deadline. If the deadline is missed for any reason, the project is terminated — no exceptions. If you anticipate any issue, you must notify us in writing at least 24 hours before the deadline with a specific reason. This is non-negotiable.
