YouTube Video Editor (Premiere Pro | Long-Form Only | Part-Time)

Hi!

We’re Jay & Karolina, full-time travel YouTubers with 200K+ subscribers, and we’re looking for a reliable, highly responsive YouTube video editor to support our channel. We already work with an editor, but as we’re falling behind on deadlines, we’re looking to bring in an additional editor to help us stay consistent.

The role:
* 1 long-form YouTube video per month to start
* Potential for more videos if the collaboration goes well
* Part-time role with long-term potential
* Important – please read before applying
* This role is strictly for editors experienced in long-form YouTube content.

If you:
* Mainly edit Shorts, Reels, or TikToks, or
* Do not have experience editing 20–45 minute YouTube videos, or
* Are not confident using Adobe Premiere Pro for long-form timelines

About the videos:
* Long-form YouTube travel content
* 20–45 minutes per video
* Editing style reference: our existing YouTube videos
* Videos are edited primarily in HD (1080p)
* Workflow

You will:
* Edit the majority of the video in Adobe Premiere Pro
* Handle pacing, b-roll overlays, basic graphics & polish
* Share full Premiere Pro project files so we can also edit on the timeline if needed
* Download and upload footage via Google Drive

We will:
* Provide structure, notes, and guidance
* Help with voiceovers & music direction
* Make final tweaks ourselves before upload
* This is a collaborative workflow, not a locked final delivery.
* Requirements (must-haves)
* Extensive experience editing long-form YouTube videos (20–45 mins)
* Strong understanding of pacing & storytelling
* Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
* Comfortable working with large timelines and project files
* Ability to share full Premiere Pro project files
* Fast, reliable internet for large Google Drive folders
* Laptop/computer capable of handling long-form edits
* Very responsive communication
* Near-fluent written English (important for feedback & revisions)
* Comfortable with multiple revision rounds

Selection process (IMPORTANT)

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to:
* Edit 10–15 minutes of a real long-form video from our channel
* This is not a paid test edit
* If selected, you will complete the full video and be paid $150 USD for the final delivery
* Please do not apply if you are not willing to put in the work required for us to assess if you’re a good fit.

Pay:
* $150 USD for 1 long-form video per month
* Opportunity to increase workload if it’s a great fit
