JOB OVERVIEW

I run a fast-growing YouTube commentary channel and need a sharp, daily research assistant to find video ideas and do pre-production research. This is a recurring ~1 hour/day role following a clear step-by-step system I'll give you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO EACH DAY:
- Scan YouTube and a list of similar channels to find trending videos in our niche (online/internet culture, viral content, drama)
- Spot "outlier" videos — small channels getting unusually high views — using free browser extensions (VidIQ / NextLev) I'll show you how to use
- Pull together 8-10 candidate video ideas, then narrow to the best 4
- For chosen ideas: gather source links, grab video transcripts, and organize research notes into a simple template
- Log everything into a shared notes doc so it's ready for me to produce

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR:
- Excellent written English and strong reading comprehension
- Genuinely good judgment about what's interesting/clickable online - you "get" internet culture and viral content
- Reliable and consistent - this is a DAILY task, same time each day
- Organized; can follow a detailed written SOP exactly
- Comfortable with YouTube, browser extensions, and basic AI tools (I'll train you)

NICE TO HAVE:
- You already watch a lot of YouTube commentary / reaction content
- Experience doing research or content support for a creator

DETAILS:
- ~1 hour per day, every day (flexible on what time, as long as it's done daily)
- Part-time, ongoing, long-term role for the right person
- Full training + written SOP provided - you don't need to guess anything
- Pay: $7/hour USD (approx $210/month). Reliable weekly or bi-weekly payment.

HOW TO APPLY:
Read the screening instructions below carefully - applications that don't follow them will be ignored.
