About the YouTube Supervisor role:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a background in social media management who is eager to venture into the realm of YouTube management. Our team requires a dedicated YouTube Supervisor to spearhead the operations of a dynamic YouTube channel. This pivotal role involves overseeing the creation and curation of compelling video content aimed at expanding the reach and influence of our online video platform. Working at Viral Vault Studios won’t be easy. Still, it will challenge and excite you with lots of responsibilities, and plenty of fun, and allow you to impact the lives of those individuals who are looking to our content for education, entertainment, or fun.

What does this look like day-to-day?

Daily tasks of the YouTube Supervisor will include setting the upload schedules for our YouTube channels, handling video uploads, and setting of video metadata. As well as this, the YouTube Manager will set up new channels and maintain existing channels. There will also be some research and experimentation required as you look into the video topics related to the niche that can help increase reach, engagement, and revenue on our channels.

A key aspect of the role will be managing a team of 3 to 5 individuals (Scriptwriters, Thumbnail Designer, Voice Actors, and Video Editors) and regularly holding calls with these individuals to guide the production process and improve the quality of the digital content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Refine and implement scheduling and uploading processes to maximize the growth of our channels, their reach, and their impact

Main Activities:
- Developing the processes that we have in place for scheduling the upload of content
- Setting the annual/ monthly schedules for videos across all of our channels
- Communicating with Video Editors and Voice Actors to know what content is ready to share on YouTube
- Coordinating uploads of new videos and promotional videos with the marketing team
- Creating video metadata (titles, tags, thumbnails) and playlists
- Working with the adaptation team to get metadata translated into other languages
- Uploading video metadata and publishing videos to YouTube!

2. Research and experiment with video topics to maximize reach (unique viewers) and engagement (watch time)

Main Activities:
-Strategizing with Adaptation and Marketing teams about which channels to launch and when, and implementing launch plans
- Integrate lessons learned into daily practice and update the YouTube playbook
- Update the rest of the digital team on trends and findings

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of Virtual Assistant experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of YouTube Channel Manager experience or equivalent (Instagram and/or TikTok)
- Experience managing a team of 3-5 direct reports
- Proficiency in content management
- Proven work experience with scaling YouTube Channels is a plus but not required
