YouTube Growth Manager

We are hiring a Youtube Growth Manager to own YouTube ideation, scripting refinement, and content launches with the goal of consistently reaching 50K+ views per video.

This role is not just about ideas — it’s about engineering growth.

You will take first-pass scripts and transform them into high-retention, high-conversion content. You will lead creative direction, bring scalable thumbnail concepts, and manage execution across the content lifecycle.

This is a strategic and leadership-level creative role.

Key Responsibilities
1. YouTube Growth Strategy
- Develop scalable video concepts designed to reach 50K+ views
- Identify trends, hooks, and positioning angles aligned with the brand
- Own content launch strategy and performance optimization

2. Script Development
- Refine first-pass scripts into filming-ready drafts
- Improve hooks, retention structure, and storytelling flow
- Ensure clarity, authority, and audience engagement

3. Creative Direction
- Lead thumbnail concept ideation that drives CTR
- Oversee title strategy and packaging
- Direct the creative execution team (editor, designer, etc.)
- Lead the video editing process by guiding editors, giving specific feedback on cuts, pacing, storytelling, and ensuring the final videos meet content strategy, creative direction, and brand standards

4. Performance Optimization
- Analyze YouTube performance data
- Identify retention drop-offs and improvement opportunities
- Continuously test hooks, titles, and formats

5. Systems & Workflow
- Streamline the YouTube production system inside Notion
- Collaborate via Slack (fast-paced communication)
- Provide feedback via Loom/video updates

Qualifications
- Proven YouTube growth experience (ideally creator-led channels)
- Strong scripting and storytelling skills
- Deep understanding of retention, hooks, and thumbnail psychology
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment
- Experience managing creative contributors
- Strong grasp of YouTube analytics

Paid Test Process
All shortlisted candidates will complete a paid test.

Test may include:
- Refining a real first-pass script
- Creating 3 scalable video concepts
- Proposing thumbnail directions (designing and strategizing)
- Video editing (video provided)

Compensation will be provided for completed test work.
