JOB OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW: Evolution Restoration & Renovation is a US-based restoration and reconstruction company specializing in insurance-driven repair and rebuild projects. We work directly with carriers, TPAs, and adjusters to deliver accurate, approval-ready repair estimates.
We are looking for an experienced Repair Estimator who knows how to build complete, defensible reconstruction scopes from start to finish — drywall, flooring, cabinetry, roofing, painting, structural repairs, and everything in between. This role is repair and reconstruction only. We are not looking for a mitigation estimator.
If you have built real repair scopes in Xactimate, negotiated with adjusters, and written supplements that got approved — this role is for you. If you haven't, this role is not the right fit.
Website: ----------
LOCATION: Remote — Philippines
SCHEDULE: Full-Time / US Arizona Business Hours
TYPE: Long-Term with Growth Opportunity

IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE APPLYING
This is a repair and reconstruction estimating role. We will ask you to walk us through estimates you have written. We will know immediately if your experience is in mitigation instead of repair. Please only apply if you have genuine hands-on experience writing residential repair and reconstruction scopes in Xactimate.

HOW WE WORK
You will receive assignments that include:
Photos of the damage
Matterport scans (used for sketching and measurements in Xactimate)
A short report summarizing the scope of repairs needed
From this information, you will build a complete repair estimate in Xactimate and support the approval and supplement process independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Write complete residential repair and reconstruction estimates in Xactimate
Build accurate room sketches using Matterport scans and photo documentation
Scope all repair line items including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, paint, roofing, framing, trim, and related trades
Communicate with TPAs and adjusters to reach approved scopes of work
Prepare and submit supplements with clear justification and supporting documentation
Write structured F9 notes to justify scope and pricing decisions
Revise estimates based on adjuster feedback and carrier guidelines
Maintain organized and well-documented claim files
Create subcontractor scopes of work based on approved estimates
Support project managers by reviewing estimates and explaining line items

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Xactimate experience writing repair and reconstruction estimates — required
Demonstrated ability to scope residential repairs across multiple trades (drywall, flooring, cabinetry, roofing, paint, structural)
Experience working directly with insurance carriers, TPAs, and adjusters
Experience handling supplements, revisions, and scope negotiations
Ability to build complete estimates independently from photos and Matterport scans
Strong written English
Strong F9 note writing and scope justification skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple files at once
Ability to work independently without supervision
Looking for a long-term opportunity
This role is not for:
Mitigation-only estimators
Candidates who have only written water extraction or drying scopes
Entry-level candidates who need to be trained on Xactimate from scratch

COMPENSATION
2–3 years experience: $600 – $900/month
3–5 years experience: $900 – $1,200/month
5+ years (advanced): $1,200 – $1,600/month
Compensation depends on demonstrated experience and skill level verified during the interview process.

WHY JOIN US
Stable, long-term US client
Direct exposure to real insurance repair and reconstruction workflows
Work on real files with real approvals — not practice scopes
Opportunity to grow with a company that values estimating quality

APPLICATION QUESTIONS
How many repair and reconstruction estimates have you written in Xactimate? Give us your honest number — and be specific about whether those were repair scopes, mitigation scopes, or both.

Please share 3 repair estimates you have written. Redact client information if needed. We want to see your line items, sketches, F9 notes, and scope structure — not a summary.

Walk us through a supplement you wrote that was initially denied and then approved. What was the situation, what did you write, and what was the outcome?
