Wordpress Developer / SEO

We are a growing U.S.-based digital marketing agency looking for a full-time Web Developer to help build, maintain, and optimize websites for our clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with WordPress, Shopify, website maintenance, landing pages, basic technical SEO, and website performance optimization.

This is a remote position based in the Philippines.

**Work Schedule:**
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (U.S. Eastern Time)
9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippines Time
40 hours per week
Monday – Friday

**Tools We Use:**
Microsoft Teams for daily communication
Google Drive for documentation and tracking
WordPress / Elementor / Divi / Gutenberg
Shopify
Google Search Console
Google Analytics
Ahrefs / SEMrush / Screaming Frog or similar SEO tools
PageSpeed Insights / GTmetrix
Canva or similar tools for basic graphics, if needed
ClickUp / Trello / Asana or similar project management tools

**Responsibilities:**
Build, edit, and maintain WordPress websites for multiple client accounts
Build, edit, and maintain Shopify websites, product pages, collections, and theme sections
Create and update landing pages, service pages, blog pages, and website sections based on client requirements
Customize WordPress themes and page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or similar tools
Perform basic Shopify theme edits and front-end adjustments using HTML, CSS, and Liquid when needed
Troubleshoot website issues, plugin conflicts, broken layouts, mobile responsiveness problems, and site errors
Improve website speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals using best practices
Perform basic technical SEO tasks, including title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, image alt text, internal linking, redirects, and sitemap checks
Publish and format blog posts with proper headings, images, links, and SEO structure
Implement on-page SEO updates based on internal SEO strategy or client campaign needs
Set up and verify Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and basic tracking tools when needed
Maintain website backups, plugin updates, theme updates, and general site security best practices
Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions
Collaborate with SEO, PPC, social media, and design tea ---------- mbers to support ongoing digital marketing campaigns
Follow project instructions, meet deadlines, and provide clear daily updates on assigned tasks
Stay current with WordPress, Shopify, SEO, website performance, and web design best practices

**Requirements:**
At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience building and managing WordPress websites professionally
Experience with Shopify website management, product pages, collections, themes, and basic store updates
Strong knowledge of WordPress, plugins, themes, page builders, and general website maintenance
Experience with Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, or similar WordPress page builders
Basic front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Basic Shopify Liquid knowledge is preferred
Strong understanding of on-page SEO and basic technical SEO best practices
Experience optimizing website speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience
Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, and basic SEO tools
Ability to troubleshoot website issues independently and find solutions
Strong attention to detail when updating layouts, content, links, images, and SEO fields
Ability to manage multiple client websites and tasks without missing deadlines
Strong written English skills for internal communication and task updates
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently during U.S. night shift hours
Reliable internet connection and a personal computer/laptop
Agency experience is preferred but not required
Experience with WooCommerce, website migrations, DNS, hosting, cPanel, or Cloudflare is a plus
