Wordpress Developer & AI Automation Specialist

We are looking for a reliable and proactive WordPress Developer & AI Automations Virtual Assistant to help manage, improve, and automate several e-commerce and lead-generation websites.

The main focus will be supporting and developing websites as well as building AI-powered automations for lead generation, customer support, website workflows, and business operations.

This role would suit someone who is technically confident, organised, and able to work independently with clear instructions.

Main Responsibilities

WordPress & WooCommerce Development

You will be responsible for helping to:
- Design, redesign, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
- Build and improve WooCommerce stores
- Update product pages, landing pages, menus, forms, and website content
- Improve website layout, speed, user experience, and mobile responsiveness
- Maintain plugins, themes, backups, and security updates
- Troubleshoot WordPress and WooCommerce issues
- Manage website hosting/server settings where required
- Set up and maintain contact forms, payment integrations, checkout flows, and email notifications
- Create landing pages for new products, offers, and lead-generation campaigns

AI Automations

You will also help build and manage automations using ---------- and/or n8n, including:

- Lead generation workflows
- Customer support automations
- Website enquiry automations
- CRM and Airtable automations
- Email follow-up sequences
- Data scraping/research workflows where appropriate
- Airtable/database updates
- Connecting tools such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Gmail, Airtable, Google Drive, OpenAI, and other apps

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should have experience with:
- WordPress
- WooCommerce
- Elementor, or similar page builders
- WordPress hosting/server management
- Website speed optimisation
- Basic SEO
- Website security, backups, and plugin management

- API integrations
- Google Sheets and/or Airtable
- OpenAI/ChatGPT automations
- CRM or lead-generation workflows
- Good written English
- Clear communication and regular progress updates
