WordPress Website Manager with Elementor Experience for Medical Podiatrist Website

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Website Manager with available Elementor and SEMrush SEO tools(we already have these available) to manage and enhance a professional medical website for our podiatry practice, operating across two clinic locations. Our site is already hosted on WP Engine, and this role will focus on optimizing the website to drive patient intake, promote our physicians, and enhance visibility for our Google Local listings.

The ideal candidate brings experience with local business websites and a commitment to a long-term position with potential to grow into a management role. We do integrate further social media resources and are willing to grow further with the ideal candidate who can develop as part of our team. We’re open to exploring additional services you might be able to recommend or show confidence in!

Key Responsibilities:
Manage, develop, and maintain our WordPress website using Elementor on the WP Engine hosting platform, ensuring it’s visually appealing, mobile-responsive, and optimized for patient engagement.

Optimize the website to generate patient intake (e.g., clear calls-to-action, appointment booking features, and patient-friendly navigation), promote our physicians (e.g., bio pages, testimonials, and expertise highlights), and boost visibility for our two Google Local clinic locations.

We do have SEMrush for SEO analysis to improve search rankings and monitor performance.

Manage Google Local strategies (e.g., Google My Business optimization, location-specific content) to attract local patients.

Perform regular updates, backups, and security checks within the WP Engine environment (This is already automated).

Collaborate with our team to refine medical-focused content and suggest plugins or tools compatible with WP Engine to enhance functionality.

Requirements:
Proven experience managing WordPress websites, with specific expertise in Elementor for design and customization.

Familiarity with WP Engine hosting platform and its features (e.g., staging environments, performance tools).

Hands-on experience with SEMrush for SEO analysis and optimization.

Demonstrated success working on local business websites (please include examples or a portfolio in your application).

Knowledge of LOCAL SEO optimization for multi-location businesses.

Ability to optimize websites for lead generation (patient intake) and personal branding (physician promotion).

Strong communication skills and a proactive, independent work style.

Ideally this would be to a long-term role with growth potential, but also willing to work part time or shorter duration with ideal candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with additional SEO tools or strategies.

Familiarity with medical or healthcare websites, especially podiatry-related.

Basic graphic design skills for enhancing visuals in Elementor.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance or medical website standards is a plus but not required.

Tools We Use:
WP Engine: Our hosting platform, already in place.

Elementor: For website design and customization.

SEMrush: Available for SEO analysis and optimization.

Google Local: For managing and promoting our two clinic locations.

Salary & Hours:
Salary: $8- 10+ USD per hour initially, but will grow further with an ideal candidate (negotiable based on experience and skills).

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible schedule within reason).
