WordPress Full Stack Developer

We’re seeking an experienced and highly skilled WordPress Full Stack Developer to join our international digital marketing and development team. You’ll be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing WordPress websites that are SEO-optimized, conversion-focused, and designed with the user in mind.

This role requires a strong background in custom WordPress development, agile workflows, frontend design execution, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketers, designers, and strategists.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or using advanced builders (Elementor Pro, GeneratePress, Kadence, Thrive Themes).
- Set up and manage hosting environments in WPEngine, configure Cloudflare CDN, and handle SFTP and deployment workflows.
- Build responsive, mobile-first, UX-optimized websites based on Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch wireframes.
- Implement SEO best practices, including semantic HTML, schema markup, structured data, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
- Execute CRO enhancements, including layout testing, heatmap analysis (Hotjar/Clarity), and design optimization for improved CVR.
- Ensure Pagespeed Insights scores of 95%+ using advanced performance and speed optimization techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to plugin conflicts, theme errors, and API integrations.
- Use ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) to build flexible and user-friendly admin panels.
- Participate in agile development sprints, collaborating with internal teams to deliver tasks on time and within scope.
- Apply technical SEO, CRO, and UX/UI principles** during the development cycle to ensure search visibility and high user engagement.
- Perform QA, browser/device testing, and website deployment from staging to production.
Continuously improve code quality, maintainability, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience in full stack WordPress development.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
- Expert-level coding proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, including theme, plugin, and database structure.
- Experience working in Agile development environments, with familiarity in using Git and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, ClickUp).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially with code-level and compatibility issues.
- Reliable internet connection and professional remote setup, with availability during overlapping U.S. business hours.
- Must be able to communicate clearly define project requirements with Client Account Team, Technical SEO team and Strategy team.
