Job Description: Website Designer & Developer

Overview:Trojan Roofing is seeking a talented and creative Website Designer & Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in designing and building websites on the Go High Level platform, with additional expertise in WordPress development as a bonus. This role is design-focused but requires the technical skills to build functional, responsive websites that drive user engagement and align with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design and Development:

Design visually compelling and user-friendly websites primarily on Go High Level.

Utilize WordPress for additional web development projects as needed.

Create custom web layouts, graphics, and design elements to enhance the user experience.

Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across devices.

SEO Optimization:

Conduct keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.

Optimize website performance, loading speed, and mobile responsiveness.

Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics.

Web Content Creation:

Develop engaging and high-quality web content, including custom graphics, banners, and multimedia elements.

Design and implement web art and visual content to support marketing campaigns and branding initiatives.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with business objectives.

Maintenance and Updates:

Regularly update website content and ensure all elements are current and functional.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to maintain website performance.

Stay updated on the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.

Present design concepts and prototypes for feedback and approval.

Provide guidance and training on the use of Go High Level for internal team members.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Website Designer & Developer, with a focus on Go High Level.

Proficiency in WordPress development is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of SEO principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.

Ability to create custom web art and multimedia content.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Portfolio of previous web design and development projects (required).

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of UX/UI principles and best practices.

Familiarity with integrating third-party tools and plugins on Go High Level and WordPress.

Basic understanding of coding languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Experience with e-commerce solutions and integrations.
