Job Opening: Website Developer/Engineer (Real Estate License Verification Automation)

Are you a highly skilled website developer or engineer with a knack for building smart, secure user systems? We are seeking a Website Builder/Engineer to help automate a critical part of our membership platform — validating active real estate licenses through the California Department of Real Estate (DRE).
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for building or upgrading a membership-based website that ensures only users with an active California real estate license can pay for and access our services. This includes integrating an automated cross-referencing system with the DRE license lookup database ( ---------- ).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop or enhance our current website with custo ---------- mbership logic


Build automation to verify license status against DRE’s public database before payment is accepted


Ensure system re-checks license status regularly or at login to maintain compliance


Create a secure and seamless user experience for onboarding, validation, and access control


Integrate with payment processing platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)


Build scalable, secure back-end processes for managing verified users


Provide documentation for ongoing maintenance and updates


Qualifications:
? Strong experience with website development (WordPress, Webflow, or custom-coded platforms)
? Proficiency in back-end integration (APIs, web scraping or data parsing, user validation)
? Experience with secure payment gateways and membership platforms
? Knowledge of CA DRE system a major plus (or ability to work with public license databases)
? Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of independent problem-solving
? Ability to deliver clear documentation and scalable code
Bonus Points For:
Previous work with real estate platforms or government database integrations


UX/UI design experience for seamless user flows


Familiarity with DRE data structures or scraping techniques if no public API is available
