Website Design & Support Specialist (Contract Position)

Franklin Marketing Co. is seeking a talented Website Design & Support Specialist to join our growing team as an independent contractor. This is a remote contract position for someone who is passionate about building high-quality websites, providing ongoing website support, and helping businesses grow online.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and experienced with WordPress website development. Experience with SEO is a strong advantage.

Position Overview

The Website Design & Support Specialist will report directly to the owner of Franklin Marketing Co. and will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and improving client websites. This individual will work closely with leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and meet our quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities
Website Design & Development
Design and build professional WordPress websites.
Develop websites using Elementor and other WordPress tools.
Customize themes and layouts to meet client branding and business goals.
Ensure websites are mobile-friendly, fast, secure, and user-friendly.
Perform website updates, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins.
Work with website forms, integrations, and third-party tools.
Website Support
Complete client-requested website edits promptly.
Troubleshoot website issues and resolve technical problems.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, backups, and quality assurance checks.
Ensure websites continue to perform at a high level after launch.
SEO (Preferred)

SEO experience is not required but is highly preferred. Candidates with SEO knowledge will receive additional consideration.

Helpful experience includes:

On-page SEO optimization
Keyword research
Meta titles and descriptions
Internal linking
Image optimization
Basic technical SEO
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
Qualifications

Required:

Strong experience with WordPress.
Advanced experience using Elementor.
Experience designing responsive, professional websites.
Ability to troubleshoot WordPress issues independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

SEO experience.
Experience with WooCommerce.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
Experience with website performance optimization.
Schedule Requirements

Franklin Marketing Co. operates on U.S. Central Time.

Applicants must be available to work during 3:00 AM – 10:00 AM Central Time (CT) each business day for meetings, collaboration, and client support.

For applicants in the Philippines, this corresponds to approximately:

4:00 PM – 11:00 PM Philippine Time (PHT) during U.S. Daylight Saving Time.
5:00 PM – 12:00 AM Philippine Time (PHT) during U.S. Standard Time.

Additional work hours may be completed outside of this required overlap as project deadlines allow.
