Website Builder / WordPress Developer (One-Off Project with Future Opportunities)

Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced website builder/WordPress developer to help us complete and enhance our current simple website project. This is a one-off assignment aimed at realising a functional, attractive website built on the free Neve theme (version 4.0.0 by ThemeIsle). If the site proves successful, there may be opportunities for further work, including building additional sites in the future.

Project Background:
Our website was initially built using the free Neve theme on a test URL, and while the homepage is approximately 80% complete, it looks promising. However, following a change to a more secure login URL, the site’s design has been disrupted. We require an expert to restore and complete the design, ensuring that the site is both visually appealing and functionally robust.

Key Responsibilities:

Restore and Complete Homepage Design:

Revert the design to match the original homepage from the secure login URL.
Finish the overall design build on the new URL, ensuring consistency and visual appeal.
Enhance Blog Section:

Add a sidebar to the right-hand side column of the blog.
Integrate the following widgets into the sidebar:
Search field
Latest Post
Categories

Facebook Page widget
Site Disclaimer
Navigation Fixes:

Correct the main navigation structure.
Under the ‘Sections’ menu, rename the ‘Features’ tab to ‘Wellness’ and ensure it links to the corresponding section on the homepage.
Footer Optimisation:

Clean up the footer design to enhance its aesthetic appeal.
Social Media Integration:

Link and integrate social media accounts for improved connectivity.
Sitemap Creation:

Develop and implement a comprehensive sitemap for the website.
Additional Information:

The ‘Store’ section currently contains placeholder images which will be updated soon with affiliate product images.
The current website is hosted on a WordPress platform with a customised login URL for security.
Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience with WordPress, particularly with customisations on free themes (experience with Neve is a plus).
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP.
Experience with widget integration and responsive design.
Familiarity with website security practices, particularly regarding login URL customisation.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design inconsistencies after URL changes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
