JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description: Web + Marketing Designer (Wix Studio, Canva, Figma)

If you love turning messy notes into clean, on-brand pages… and you get weirdly excited about a well-structured resource hub (like “ah yes, hierarchy ????”), this might be your lane.

We’re looking for a Web + Marketing Designer who can help us ship a backlog of website pages and marketing assets fast—without needing constant approvals. This isn’t a “just make pretty things” role. It’s a take-ownership, ship consistently, and make the brand feel instantly more professional kind of role.

?

Your impact

Within 90 days, you’ll own a steady pipeline of polished web and marketing assets. You’ll help us:
• launch a content/resource hub with 20–25 high-quality pages
• create clean, consistent marketing + client education materials
• speed up how we communicate with clients (clearer visuals, better pages, smoother onboarding)

?

What you’ll do

Website build-outs (core focus)
• Build and refresh 20–25 website pages to kickstart a content/resource hub (feature launches, SOP-style guides, education pages)
• Work mainly in Wix Studio (if you’re strong in WordPress/CMS and can ramp fast, that’s totally acceptable)
• Turn rough wireframes/notes into polished pages with strong layout, hierarchy, and readability
• Make smart design decisions independently (no “waiting for the founder to approve every pixel” energy)

Marketing + client-education assets
• Create branded assets in Canva (LinkedIn carousel/swipe posts, onboarding visuals, lightweight collateral)
• Maintain brand consistency using our brand kit (fonts, colours, spacing, tone)
• Produce Figma mockups when needed (page concepts, component ideas, layout explorations) and translate them into live pages

Light ops + communication support (small but helpful)
• Support basic operations: email triage, draft/reply to simple messages, flag priority items
• Gradually step into client onboarding/follow-ups once you understand the business (you may be looped into onboarding comms or occasional calls)

How we collaborate
• Daily comms: Telegram
• Files/docs: Google Workspace
• Documentation: Confluence (easy to learn)

?

Must-have qualifications (self-check)
• Formal design education (degree, diploma, or recognised certification) — not purely self-taught
• Strong portfolio showing web + marketing design (live links and/or case studies)
• Confident in Canva (independent creation of marketing assets)
• Confident in Figma (UI/UX mockups, layouts, components)
• Web platform capability: Wix Studio preferred, or strong WordPress/CMS experience and can ramp quickly
• Professional, client-ready English (written + spoken)
• Comfortable working with autonomy and initiative (minimal hand-holding)
• Secure home office + reliable internet

?

Nice to have (but not required)
• Wix Studio experience specifically (responsive rules, components, Studio builder)
• Experience designing education/resource hubs, knowledge bases, or feature launch pages
• Basic copywriting / UX writing instincts
• Confluence familiarity or experience documenting workflows
• Comfortable using AI tools to speed up drafts (with good judgment)

?

Success outcomes (30 / 60 / 90 days)

30 days — settled in + shipping
• Learn the brand + cadence
• Ship your first pages/assets with minimal revisions
• Establish a weekly rhythm (plan early-week, deliver end-week)

60 days — consistent output
• Reliably produce high-quality pages and Canva assets end-to-end
• Confidently handle simple client follow-ups/onboarding comms

90 days — pipeline owner
• Own the web + marketing design pipeline
• Clear the initial backlog of pages
• Reduce founder involvement to quick reviews vs constant direction

?

Why this role matters

The business is growing and shipping features, but design + content updates are bottlenecked by founder capacity. Your work directly improves:
• how customers understand the product
• how polished the brand looks
• how smooth onboarding feels

If you want a role that starts design-heavy and can grow into broader ops/client support, you’ll fit here.
