About Us

We are a growing SEO and digital marketing agency looking for a reliable Web Developer & Technical SEO Specialist to support our client websites.

This role is responsible for website development, technical SEO implementation, website maintenance, malware removal, security improvements, and troubleshooting technical website issues.

This is a long-term position with opportunities for growth as our agency expands.

## Compensation

* $1,000 CAD per month
* Full-time position

## Daily Responsibilities

### Website Development

* Build landing pages using content provided by our SEO team.
* Build websites using WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Framer, and other platforms.
* Customize existing websites and implement requested design changes.
* Assist with website redesign projects.

### Technical SEO

* Fix technical SEO issues identified through:

* SE Ranking
* SEMrush
* Google Search Console
* Google PageSpeed Insights

* Optimize:

* Core Web Vitals
* Page Speed
* Mobile Performance
* Internal Linking
* Schema Markup
* Crawlability and Indexing

### Website Maintenance

* Perform plugin, theme, and CMS updates.
* Monitor website performance.
* Troubleshoot website errors and bugs.
* Manage backups and website maintenance tasks.

### Website Security

* Detect and remove malware.
* Investigate hacked websites.
* Implement security best practices.
* Improve website protection and monitoring systems.
* Prevent future security vulnerabilities.

### Hosting & Technical Support

* Assist with hosting migrations.
* Configure SSL certificates.
* Resolve DNS issues.
* Troubleshoot server and hosting-related problems.

## Required Skills

* Strong WordPress experience.
* Experience with Webflow, Shopify, Wix, and Framer.
* HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP knowledge.
* Technical SEO experience.
* Website speed optimization experience.
* Malware removal and website security experience.
* Experience with website migrations.

## Nice to Have

* Experience building custom dashboards and portals.
* Google Analytics 4 experience.
* Google Tag Manager experience.
* API integration experience.
