Web Developer, SEO & Growth

Job Responsibilities:
Work on projects independently and as part of a team
Write elegant, maintainable code that's easy for the next developer to understand
Identify, dissect, and resolve problems; provide troubleshooting support
Develop and thoroughly test solutions
Improve website organic search ranking through on-page SEO, backlink optimization, and ongoing technical SEO work
Publish and format blog posts on WordPress (content will be provided)
Manage Google Tag Manager setup, event tracking, and tag maintenance
Monitor site performance in Google Search Console and act on indexing, coverage, and Core Web Vitals issues
Optimize website images for speed and SEO (compression, alt text, responsive formats)

Qualifications — Development
Strong knowledge of PHP programming
Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel and Symfony
Strong knowledge of database technology, especially MySQL
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js
Good knowledge of HTML / CSS / jQuery
Ability to research, test, debug, and implement new code

Qualifications — Website & SEO
WordPress expert (themes, plugins, page builders, troubleshooting)
Hands-on experience with website SEO: on-page optimization, backlink building, and content publishing workflows
Proficient with Google Tag Manager
Familiar with Google Search Console
Experience with website image optimization
Web design / UX sensibility a plus
