Web Developer

Position Overview

As a Web Developer at Brand Alchemy, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications across multiple client and internal projects. You will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, project managers, and leadership to bring innovative digital experiences to life.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, proactive, and passionate about modern web technologies, performance optimization, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive websites and web applications
Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, functional web experiences
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
Ensure websites are optimized for speed, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and development teams on project execution
Troubleshoot bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks
Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and CMS platforms when required
Conduct testing and quality assurance before deployment
Stay current with emerging web technologies, trends, and best practices
Support website security, maintenance, and ongoing improvements

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in:
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
Responsive Design
Experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js
Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms
Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO best practices
Familiarity with Git/version control workflows
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or modern CSS frameworks
Knowledge of API integrations and headless CMS architectures
Understanding of UI/UX principles
Experience working in agency or startup environments
Basic understanding of analytics and conversion optimization
