Web Designer - WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify - Flexible Time

This is a long-term position with 10% bonus pay withdrawable on demand. Wages are paid twice monthly via Wise, and we cover the transfer fees. Client Spike is a UK based agency focused on helping unusual ecommerce setups. Most of our clients are B2B suppliers of products, like wholesalers for example. They are all based on Woocommerce or Shopify, however other ecommerce platforms and non-ecommerce projects will come up from time to time.

We're looking for an Web Designer with extensive WordPress and some Shopify experience to join us in creating and modifying internal and external websites. We use Elementor for our WordPress websites, so experience with Elementor will be seen as an advantage.

We are a small team, and our ideal candidate would have a strong mix of skills. Design skills are our top priority, but ability and confidence to participate in creating content, editing images and generally solving problems to create successful websites is what we're looking for.

The is not a development job, and we have experienced web developers on the team to support you on custom functionality. Coding knowledge/experience isn't required, but certainly could be seen as an asset.

In this role, you will be working on the following:
- Building high-converting, beautiful websites.
- Modifying existing websites to add new content, create new pages, etc.
- Performing quality control on your own work.
- Collaborating with our team for technical requirements.
- Assisting in planning websites and quoting for new projects.

- Proficient in WordPress, Elementor, Shopify.
- Amazing design skills.
- Excellent written English skills.
- Strong spoken English skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving ability, but comfortable in asking questions.
- Desire to work collaboratively within a team.
