Virtual Patient Care Coordinator

US HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. THIS POSITION REQUIRES INBOUND CALLS.

THE PAY STARTS AT $3.50 / HOUR - BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for answering the phones and routing all calls to the appropriate office location
• Appointment Scheduling:
o Scheduling appointments while offering the closest location
o Booking patient appointments and managing rescheduling requests.
• Answering basic patient inquiries, confirming appointments, and providing general practice information.
• Responsible for answering all patient requests for appointments from the organization’s website and ModMed portal
• Calling patients for post-visit reminders, medication adherence, or lab test results follow-ups.
• Assisting patients with accessing and navigating the online portal for appointments, results, and inquiries.
• Work on special projects as assigned

Education & Experience:
• Minimum 1-year healthcare or medical office experience preferred
• Experience with ModMed EMR preferred
