Virtual Marketing Operations + Agorapulse Content Manager
Independent Contractor | $9-12/hour based on experience
We’re looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist with proven expertise in Agorapulse to join our virtual marketing team. This is a key support role for a fast-paced, growing fractional CMO practice serving law firms and service-based businesses.
You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our digital marketing tech stack, ensuring platforms are properly connected and optimized, and managing the day-to-day backend of our content systems — with a special focus on Agorapulse for social scheduling, publishing, and performance monitoring.

Agorapulse – primary tool for content scheduling and reporting

WordPress – website and blog content management
Google Analytics / GA4 – tracking website performance and setting up goals
Meta Business Suite – managing
Google My Business – for local search visibility and reputation management
YouTube / YouTube Shorts – content publishing and channel management
Zapier – for automating workflows and connecting platforms (implied with automations)
Google Drive / Dropbox – asset storage and organization
UTM builders or tracking systems – for link tracking and attribution (e.g. Google’s Campaign URL Builder or a spreadsheet template)
Responsibilities
**Marketing Platform Setup + Optimization**
* Ensure correct setup, integration, and syncing across key platforms (e.g. Flodesk, WordPress, GA4, Meta Business Suite, Google My Business, YouTube)
* Set up and maintain UTM tracking templates and monitor analytics dashboards
* Create basic landing pages or blog drafts in WordPress when needed
* Troubleshoot
**Agorapulse Content Platform Management**
* Act as the daily manager for Agorapulse:
* Maintain social media publishing queues
* Tag, categorize, and optimize posts by campaign
* Monitor content calendars and make necessary adjustments
* Pull reports and provide engagement data weekly or monthly
* Support our social strategist by uploading creative assets and organizing by content pillar
* Ensure all channels (Instagram,
**General Tech + Admin Support**
* Maintain organized folders of creative assets (in Google Drive or Dropbox)
* Keep digital marketing SOPs and tracking sheets updated
* Suggest and implement tools or automations to streamline our workflow

Skills & Requirements
* **2+ years experience** managing marketing tools and back-end setup
* **Fluent in Agorapulse** (experience with similar platforms like Sprout Social or Later is a bonus)
* Comfortable with WordPress, Google Analytics, Flodesk, and social media integrations
* Tech troubleshooting comes naturally to you — you Google it, fix it, and keep moving
* Strong organization and communication skills; self-motivated and deadline-driven
* Bonus: experience working with agencies or professional service clients like law firms
