Virtual Events & Customer Support Assistant (Eventbrite + OpenTable + Email Management)

About Us

We are a fast-growing events company based in Washington, D.C., hosting multiple weekly singles mixers, speed dating events, and social gatherings across Northern Virginia and the DMV area.

We manage 100+ active Eventbrite listings and host events at popular venues in Arlington, Tysons, and surrounding areas. We are looking for a highly organized, reliable Virtual Assistant to help us manage event operations and customer communication.

This role will start part-time and transition into full-time for the right candidate.

Work Schedule

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Washington, D.C. time (EST/EDT)
Monday–Friday
(Some flexibility may be required during busy event weeks)

This schedule is mandatory. Please only apply if you can consistently work these hours.

Compensation

$2 – $5 USD per hour
(Based on experience, English level, and performance)

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Eventbrite Management

• Creating and editing Eventbrite listings
• Updating event descriptions and ticket tiers
• Monitoring ticket sales
• Checking for errors in listings
• Duplicating events correctly
• Managing 100+ live events

OpenTable Reservations

• Booking reservations at partner venues
• Confirming table sizes
• Coordinating event times
• Tracking confirmations


Email
& Customer Support

• Responding to customer emails
• Answering questions about events
• Handling refund requests
• Communicating professionally with attendees
• Sending follow-ups when needed

Reporting & Organization

• Updating Excel spreadsheets
• Tracking ticket sales
• Monitoring attendance
• Organizing weekly reports
• Keeping internal systems organized

Requirements

• Good written English (clear, professional communication)
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with Eventbrite (preferred)
• Experience with OpenTable (preferred)
• Experience with customer support
• Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets
• Highly organized
• Reliable internet connection
• Can work independently without constant supervision

We need someone dependable.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Social media posting
• Canva design
• Experience in event management
• CRM experience
• Familiarity with U.S. customers
