ABOUT THE BRAND

Nugget Nomad is a travel brand dedicated to one thing: documenting every McDonald's menu items and locations most worth visiting around the world. We're a social media first brand, and we're now building out a blog along with a YouTube channel.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Assembly: Taking raw Google Docs, Transcripts, and WordPress drafts, along with given photos, and turning them into beautiful, formatted WordPress posts. This virtual assistant will also source photos from DepositPhotos and Wikimedia.

On-Page SEO: Optimizing headers, meta-descriptions, and image Alt-text (using RankMath, though we're not going to over-optimize; we write for humans).

Affiliate Integration: Researching the best hotels or travel gear related to the blog post location and inserting affiliate links ( ---------- , etc.).

Pinterest Management: Creating 3–5 high-quality Pins in Canva for every post and scheduling them via Pinterest's native scheduler.

Basic Research: Find the secret menu items, research the places most worth visiting, etc.


Facebook Group: Add each post into the monthly Admin Assist rotation in our group.


Facebook Page: Create, post, schedule, and ---------- content for our Facebook Business Page.

Instagram Page: Create content specifically for Instagram - carousel posts, single photo posts, etc.


REQUIRED SKILLS

WordPress: You should know your way around the Gutenberg editor and basic plugins.

Canva Ninja: You can take a photo of a McSpicy and make it look like a professional Pinterest graphic.

SEO Awareness: You understand that keywords matter and internal linking is king.

English Proficiency: High-level written English is a must for formatting and basic copy-editing.

Reliability: You are a self-starter who can work without my input while I’m traveling.
