# **Virtual Assistant for Photography Business**

**Position:** Virtual Assistant (Photo Editing + Social Media Support)

**Type:** Full-Time (Remote)

**Pay:** $600–$900/month (based on skill/experience)

**Location:** Work from Home

## **Who We Are**

We’re a Northern Michigan-based photography business capturing weddings, couples, and lifestyle sessions with warmth, authenticity, and a keen eye for detail. Our business is called Nicole Geri Photography.

As we grow, we’re looking for a **Virtual Assistant** who understands the photography industry and can help us stay organized, keep up with client communication, and handle the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our business running smoothly.

## **What You’ll Be Doing**

This role is perfect for someone who loves photography, is highly organized, can help improve systems, and can juggle editing, admin, and light social media support.

### Photo Support

- Culling galleries to select the best images
- Editing photos in **Lightroom** (Photoshop experience is a plus!)
- Organizing and exporting final galleries
- Uploading images to Pic-Time

### Admin & VA Tasks

- Managing email inquiries and organizing our inbox
- Assisting with Honeybook (contracts, client files, timelines)
- Keeping our folders, galleries, and projects organized
- Creating checklists and helping streamline workflows
- Creating and improving SOPs

### Social Media Support

- Scheduling posts for Instagram and Facebook
- Engaging with comments and messages
- Light caption writing or repurposing past content
- Tracking post performance and helping with consistency

## **Requirements**

- Experience with photo culling and editing using **Lightroom**
- Must use Macbook as primary work station to ensure consistency in color editing
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills
- Familiarity with Instagram and Facebook for business
- Previous experience in a VA or support role
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Access to fast, reliable internet

### Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have)

- Photoshop experience
- Bookkeeping or basic accounting knowledge
- Familiarity with Honeybook, Google Drive, or Canva
- Previous experience working with photographers or creative service-based businesses
