Role Overview:
I’m looking for a proactive Virtual Assistant to help grow and promote the NeuroVision Edge Podcast. The show focuses on athletes, coaches, and performance experts, exploring how vision, mindset, and science give athletes a competitive edge.
You’ll handle day-to-day marketing, repurposing podcast content, and outreach to high-level professionals (athletes, coaches, authors, experts) for guest booking. This is a long-term role for someone passionate about podcast growth, sports, or performance psychology.
Key Responsibilities
Content Repurposing & Promotion
• Take podcast recordings and create content for LinkedIn,
• Draft posts, carousels, and threads using quotes, insights, and clips.
• Repurpose long episodes into short-form video clips (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) with captions.
• Optimize YouTube descriptions, titles, and tags for SEO.
Marketing & Audience Growth
• Build content calendars for podcast promotion across platforms.
• Engage with relevant communities (coaches, athletes, PR reps, sports professionals).
• Research trending topics in sports performance to align content.
• Suggest ways to grow downloads and visibility (newsletters, collaborations, partnerships).
Guest Outreach & Coordination
• Research and build lists of potential high-level guests (athletes, coaches, experts).
• Draft personalized outreach messages to PR reps, publicists, and talent managers.
• Manage scheduling and prep materials for upcoming guests.
Podcast Preparation
• Draft rough outlines for episodes (questions, discussion flow).
• Pull key talking points and clips after recording.
General Support
• Weekly analytics reports (follower growth, engagement, downloads).
• Assist with SEO/blog content for podcast promotion.
Skills & Experience Required
• Proven experience managing social media marketing (LinkedIn,
• Strong copywriting skills (professional but engaging tone).
• Basic video editing (CapCut, Descript, or similar) to clip podcast content.
• Familiar with SEO and YouTube optimization.
• Bonus: Experience booking podcast guests or working with PR/publicists.
• Highly organized, self-starter, can work with minimal supervision.
