Virtual Assistant / Admin Coordinator – Urban Power????? Melbourne, VIC (Remote / Virtual Role)
Urban Power is a growing Melbourne-based electrical business looking for a reliable and proactive Virtual Assistant to join our team and help with the day-to-day operations of the business.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in administration, project coordination, estimating support, bookkeeping, accounting, or trade business operations. We are looking for someone who can become an important part of our team and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes while assisting us in managing and growing the business.
About the Role
You will assist with a variety of tasks across the business, including:
* General administration and customer support
* Managing jobs and scheduling through ServiceM8
* Assisting with invoicing and quoting
* Supporting accounts administration and bookkeeping using Xero
* Organising paperwork, emails, and job information
* Following up clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Assisting with social media posting and business presence
* Supporting the team with day-to-day operations
* Helping improve systems and workflows
* Assisting management with business organisation and operations
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous admin or virtual assistant experience
* Experience using ServiceM8 (preferred)
* Experience using Xero
* Bookkeeping or accounting experience is highly regarded
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Confidence working independently
* Experience working with trade or construction businesses is highly regarded
* Social media/content experience is a bonus
* Availability to work during our business hours of 8:00am – 4:30p ---------- lbourne time (AEST/AEDT)
Position Details
* The role will initially begin at 3 days per week
* There is opportunity for the role to expand into 5 days per week for the right candidate
* Remote/work from home position
