Video Editor for POV/Animation YouTube Channel

My name is Jean-Marc Schwarz and I run two YouTube channels in the finance niche.

We are currently building a new YouTube channel focused on high-retention storytelling videos, and we’re looking for a video editor/animator who can bring stories to life in a simple but engaging way.

You’ll edit videos for a wide range of stories, such as:

POV: You join the Mexican Cartel
Your Life as a Medieval Torturer
Why It Sucked to Be a Samurai
Your Life as Every SWAT Rank
and many more.

The length of the script can range between 8-20 minutes.

There is no fixed style requirement, but the content should feel:
Authentic
Engaging
Fast-paced enough to retain attention

Possible styles:
Stick figure animation
Simple drawn visuals
Static images + motion
Creative minimal editing

No AI-generated visuals!

It does not have to be high quality, but it has to feel authentic.

Workload
Starting: 1–2 videos per week
Scaling up to daily uploads (with additional editors hired)

Expected turnaround: 2 days per video

Pay Structure
- $30 for videos 13 min and below and $40 for videos of up to 20 min

This is a serious long-term opportunity. Because we operate in a viral niche, the upside is significant. After the channel is monetized, you will receive 5% revenue share from the channel, with the percentage increasing over time (up to 10%) as long as you remain part of our team.
