Video Editor for Ecom brand

I'm looking to hire 3-5 editors out of this post. It's gonna be full-time and longterm opportunity for the right candidate.

A bit about us
We're a lean team of 3 founders launching our own ecom supplement brand called Rootwell in the US market. Before this, we worked on and scaled 8-figure supplement brands that were spending $2-4M/month on ads. So we know which lever to pull and most of our systems are already built.
Our target is to hit $100K/day in revenue within the next 2-3 months. We've already brought 3 creative strategists onto the team — now we need the editors who'll actually bring those concepts to life.

Who we're looking for
A direct response video editor who can produce ad creatives built to perform — not just look pretty. Specifically you should be comfortable with:

UGC and AI UGC Ads
Voiceover + b-roll style ads
Pixar / 3D animation style videos
Any other style that's working

Tools you should know (or be willing to pick up fast): CapCut, 11 Labs, HeyGen, Kling, Veo3, Nanobanana, and whatever else is current in the gen-AI stack. This space moves weekly and we want someone who actually keeps up.
What I actually care about (in plain English)

1. You have your basic editing fundamentals down (most editors do)
2. You have at least a general understanding of ecom and direct response ad creatives — not expert level, but you "get it"
3. You're already using generative AI tools and you keep yourself updated as new ones drop
4. Some kind of portfolio — even better if you've edited ad creatives before, and a big plus if you've worked with an ecom brand
5. Mindset — this is the biggest one. Open to feedback, fast learner, growth-oriented, and the kind of person who tries to overdeliver instead of just doing the bare minimum

I'm not looking for someone with the perfect skillset. I'm looking for someone with a decent skillset and real hunger to grow. We already have a head editor on our core team who'll lead you and teach you everything — frameworks, hook structures, what actually makes an ad win. So this is genuinely a good opportunity to learn ecom, brand building, and direct response from the inside while getting paid.

There's gonna be a Paid trial task ($30) so we can access your current skillset.
We know what good creatives looks like and who has put in the work so payment will be done to those candidates who have put in the efforts.

Here's the trial task: 2 ad creatives
1. AI avatar + b-roll edit — to see your direct response editing
2. Pixar-style animation video — to see how you handle generative AI

Compensation

$500-$800/month retainer based on skill level
0.5% of ad spend as a bonus on winning ads
Retainer increases as your skills sharpen and you grow with us
