We’re looking for a talented video editor to turn competitive shooting and firearms training footage into engaging, high-energy short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and other social platforms.
The goal is not just to trim videos down. We need someone who can identify exciting moments, create compelling hooks, maintain viewer attention, and produce content that feels fast, modern, and highly shareable.
What You’ll Do
* Edit 1-4 minute raw shooting footage into 15-60 second vertical videos
* Find the most exciting moments and build engaging stories around them
* Add dynamic captions, graphics, zooms, sound effects, and music
* Create strong hooks within the first 1-3 seconds
* Improve pacing to maximize retention and watch time
* Repurpose longer videos into multiple short-form clips
* Suggest creative ideas for future content
What We’re Looking For
Required
* Strong experience editing short-form social media content
* Excellent understanding of pacing and audience retention
* Ability to create engaging captions and motion graphics
* Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts trends
* Strong English comprehension
* Reliable communication and responsiveness
Bonus Points
* Experience editing sports content
* Experience editing firearms, shooting, hunting, military, tactical, or outdoor content
* Knowledge of competitive shooting sports
* Ability to create thumbnails and social graphics
