Video Editor - Youtube Talking Head

We're hiring a video editor for Binance Breakdowns — the YouTube channel for Binance South Africa. We make crypto education content for beginner and intermediate audiences. Clean, modern, sleek style — not the typical crypto-hype look.
Monthly workload:

4 long-form YouTube videos (3–5 minutes each)
2 YouTube Shorts / Reels / TikTok (under 60 seconds, vertical)
Occasional tutorials and motion-graphics promos

Our youtube channel:

Visual structure of every video:
30% animated explainer ---------- nts (lists, process steps, icon and coin animations, all in Binance colour scheme)
40–50% B-roll with simple on-screen text
Remainder talking-head with clean zoom punches into the host

The skill we most want:
Animated-style B-roll. Clean, character-driven animation and motion-graphics B-roll like a modern fintech explainer. This is what we don't have on our channel yet and what we most want to bring in.
Other skills required:

Strong Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects
2D / 3D motion graphics
Clean talking-head editing with smooth zoom punches
Working with mobile app screen recordings (zooms, highlights, blurs)
Sourcing B-roll — news clippings, lifestyle, product visuals
Matching cuts cleanly to voiceover cues
Delivering 16:9 (long-form) and 9:16 (vertical Shorts) when needed
Sharp attention to detail, especially privacy blurs (card numbers, addresses)

How we work:
You receive a detailed shot-by-shot brief for every video — script paired with B-roll, motion graphics, layout, and text overlay instructions. Your job is to bring the creative execution and polish.
