Video Editor (Part-Time, Potential Full-Time) | YouTube & Shortform Content Specialist
Position: Part-Time | 20 Hours Per Week | Remote

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our team, specializing in longform YouTube content and engaging shortform video repurposing for social media. The primary content categories include:
Podcast episodes – Dynamic, engaging edits with captions and branding.
Real estate education videos – Clear, informative, and professional.
Home tours and showcase videos – Visually appealing and polished.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement. If you have basic or intermediate social media management skills, that is a bonus, and we are willing to pay more for the right candidate who can assist with content scheduling, captions, or posting.
This role starts as part-time (20 hours per week) with the potential to expand to full-time in the near future for the right person.
Who We’re Looking For
Experienced Video Editor – At least 2+ years of video editing experience, with a focus on YouTube and shortform content.
Creative and Detail-Oriented – Ability to edit with storytelling, pacing, and engagement in mind.
Skilled in Repurposing Content – Capable of taking longform content and creating multiple shortform clips.
Proficient in Captions and Graphics – Ability to add captions (stylized preferred) and light graphics to enhance videos.
Bonus: Thumbnail and Graphic Design Skills – Experience creating compelling YouTube thumbnails is a plus.
Reliable Internet and Computer Setup – Capable of handling efficient exporting and file management.
Open to Learning and Feedback – Willing to grow with the brand and improve skills as needed.
Preferred Software and Skills
(Not required, as licenses can be provided if needed.)
Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video editing software.
Photoshop, Canva, or other graphic tools for thumbnails.
Basic social media management experience is a plus.
