Role: Video Editor & Social Media Manager
Hours: Part time — 15 hours per week
Rate: From $8 AUD/hr on a contractor basis
About the Role
We are looking for a looking for a skilled Video Editor and Social Media Manager to grow the organic social media presence and take the content to the next level.
This is a part time long-term role for someone who understands finance and property
content, can edit talking head videos into polished Reels, bring fresh ideas to grow the page
and build trust and authority through consistent high quality content. Finance content done
well builds enormous followings — and that's exactly what we're looking for.

What You'll Be Doing
• Edit talking head videos, Reels and short-form content for Instagram, Facebook and
LinkedIn
• Add captions, text overlays, b-roll, music and transitions to all video content
• Bring organic growth ideas — strategy and content concepts to grow the page
• Manage and post consistently across social media platforms
• Research what performs in the mortgage, finance and property space
• Respond to comments and engage with followers to build trust and community
• Build and manage a weekly content calendar
• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats across platforms
• Create branded graphics and carousels in Canva
• Track and report on follower growth, reach and engagement weekly

What We're Looking For
Must Have
• Video editing — CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Experience editing talking head and interview-style video content
• Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, Facebook and ---------- content
• Proven organic social media growth — show us accounts you have grown
• Content strategy — brings ideas and growth thinking, not just execution
• Canva — professional design for branded graphics and social assets
• Strong written English — captions and copy that build trust and authority
• Reliable — delivers consistently every week

• Self-managed and proactive — works independently to a high standard

Bonus Points
• Experience in mortgage, finance, property or professional services content
• LinkedIn content creation and growth experience
• Understanding of compliance considerations for financial services social media
• Experience managing social media for a mortgage broker or financial services brand
- Experience with meta ad management
