Video Editor – Short-Format Social Media Content

Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled video editor to create short-format vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You will edit videos with engaging pacing, smooth transitions, and clean color grading that aligns with our brand’s aesthetic. Our videos should feel natural, inviting, and fun—perfect for an audience that loves relaxing coloring content.

This is a fully remote position based in the Philippines. You will have creative input on how to enhance the visual appeal of our content while maintaining consistency across our brand.

We are a small, family-owned business publishing coloring books under the Jade Summer brand, featuring artwork from multiple talented artists. Our fanbase is passionate about creativity and relaxation.

Your Responsibilities
• Edit short-form vertical videos (typically 60 seconds) with smooth pacing, engaging transitions, and well-balanced color grading.
• Ensure audio is crisp and properly synced, selecting or adjusting background music to enhance the video’s appeal.
• Follow our brand’s visual style while incorporating creative touches to keep content fresh and engaging.
• Collaborate with our team via Slack, Google Meet, and Dropbox.
• Manage and organize video assets to ensure efficiency in future edits.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of pacing, transitions, and color grading for social media videos.
• Ability to optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring the best resolution and format for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Work Schedule
• 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, weekends optional).
• Some hours must align with US Eastern Time (EST) for team collaboration.
• If you are only interested in part-time, you can still apply, but we need at least 20 hours per week.
• We are flexible—let us know your preferred schedule.
