JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor who can handle high-volume editing for short-form social media content. Your primary role will be transforming raw footage into engaging videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities
Edit and deliver multiple short-form videos daily
Cut, trim, and enhance raw footage to maximize engagement
Add captions, motion graphics, and basic effects
Format videos for different social media platforms
Optimize pacing, transitions, and audio for maximum impact

Requirements
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar)
Experience in short-form content editing (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
Ability to handle a high volume of videos daily while maintaining quality
Strong understanding of social media trends and engagement strategies
Fast turnaround time and ability to meet deadlines

Compensation
Compensation is based on the quality of videos provided and the number of videos completed on a monthly basis.
Editors who produce high-quality, engaging content will have the opportunity for higher compensation and additional projects.

Core Editing Principles
Length: 20-60 seconds (optimal for engagement)
Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (Vertical, 1080x1920)
Pacing: Fast cuts, no dead space—eliminate pauses, hesitations, or filler words
Step-by-Step Editing Workflow

Step 1: Hook (0-3 Seconds)

Start the video mid-action or mid-sentence to grab attention
Use a strong opening line (e.g., “You won’t believe what happened next”)

Step 2: Add Visual Engagement

Captions: Use bold, animated text that appears word-by-word for emphasis
Cuts & Zooms: Remove silences over 0.3 seconds, add subtle zoom-ins on key Upgrade to see actual infonts

Step 3: Audio Enhancement
