Role Overview

We’re looking for a Video Editor who can shape long-form conversations into sharp, engaging narratives that keep audiences hooked from start to finish. You’ll be the force behind our podcasts and video explainers—cutting, shaping, and optimizing content for maximum retention and impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit full podcast episodes and highlights for multiple platforms.
- Craft short-form video clips (TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts) with strong hooks and retention tactics.
- Build narratives through pacing, sequencing, and subtle storytelling choices.
- Work closely with editorial and production teams to align content with PGMN’s voice.
- Incorporate captions, graphics, and sound design to enhance storytelling.
- Keep content trend-aware while maintaining journalistic integrity.

Requirements
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and Audition are a plus, but not required).
- Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling—or the willingness to learn and improve fast.
- Interest in platform-specific content strategies (we’ll guide you through this).
- Comfortable working under deadlines and open to direct feedback.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

- Support editorial deadlines and content calendars.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain project efficiency.
- Continuously track and adapt to audience behavior and platform trends.
