Video Editor for EDM Artist - Short-Form Content Specialist
We're an established EDM artist project seeking a long-term video editor to join our growing team. We offer stable, ongoing work with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.
Role Overview
- Create engaging short-form content (15-60 seconds) for social media
- Transform raw footage into high-performing content
- Contribute creative ideas for fresh and innovative video concepts
- Work independently while maintaining regular communication
- Expected workload: 20-30 hours per week

Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in creating viral short-form content
- Expert knowledge of Instagram Reels and TikTok formats, trends, and best practices
- Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut)
- Excellent understanding of what makes content perform well on social platforms
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Understanding of optimal export settings for different platforms
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with EDM/music industry content
- Knowledge of current EDM culture and trends
- Previous work with artists or music-related content
Work Structure & Expectations
- Flexible, asynchronous work schedule
- Must be available for occasional creative discussions between 6:30-9:00 PM EST (advance notice will be provided)
- Initial workload: 2-3 videos per week (subject to change)
- 24-hour turnaround time for video delivery
- Videos must be delivered by 11:00 AM EST on posting day
- Detailed SOPs and guidelines will be provided for all processes
Compensation & Payment
- Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level (to be discussed during interview)
- Payment methods: PayPal, Zelle, Wise, or Venmo
- Performance bonuses for high-performing content (based on views, engagement, and shares)
- 13th month pay for long-term tea
- Bi-weekly payment schedule available
Application Process
To ensure we find the right candidate, our selection process consists of several stages:
1. Initial Application

2. Screening Task
Before the trial task, complete these preliminary exercises:

- Video analysis exercise
- Time management scenario
3. Trial Task
Shortlisted candidates will:
- Access sample footage and reference videos from:

- Create one engaging short-form video (15-60 seconds)
- Feel free to draw inspiration from the reference videos or create your own unique style
- Top 3 submissions will receive $15 each
- Submit your video with the subject line "EDM Video Editor - Trial Submission"
4. Final Interview
- Discussion of work style and availability
- Technical knowledge assessment
- Creative approach evaluation
