JOB OVERVIEW

I run multiple direct-to-consumer Shopify brands in the beauty and wellness space and I need a sharp video editor who lives and breathes short-form ad creative. You will be editing UGC footage, raw clips, and b-roll into high-converting Facebook and Instagram ads. I handle creative strategy and briefs. You handle execution.

This is a long-term role with consistent work and room to grow.

What You Will Do

-Edit 3-5 short-form video ads per week (15 to 60 seconds)
-Follow creative briefs that outline the hook, angle, format, and CTA
-Add captions, text overlays, sound design, and pacing adjustments
-Iterate based on feedback quickly and without hand-holding
-Over time, contribute to scripting hooks and ad concepts

You Are a Fit If

-You have edited Meta or TikTok ads before, not just content or vlogs
-You understand what a hook is and why the first 3 seconds matter
-You are fast, organized, and communicate clearly
-You can take direction well and apply feedback without it needing to be repeated
-You have a portfolio or examples of ads you have edited

You Are Not a Fit If

-Your background is only weddings, YouTube vlogs, or corporate video
-You have never thought about conversion or why someone would stop scrolling
-You need constant check-ins or hand-holding

Tools
CapCut preferred. Open to other tools if your work speaks for itself.

-Part-time to start, with potential to go full-time based on output and quality
-Remote, async work
-Competitive rate based on experience
