Video Editor (AI + Documentary Style)

We’re looking for skilled video editors to help create historical storytelling content similar to our channel:

What You’ll Do

* Produce engaging historical videos using AI-generated visuals and traditional editing techniques.
* Research and source historically accurate photos, references, and visual materials.
* Create cinematic sequences that bring historical events and figures to life.
* Use AI tools (currently Veo 3.1) to generate footage when needed.
* Ensure all visuals, narration, and scenes remain historically accurate and free from common AI-generated mistakes.
* Assemble and edit complete videos ready for publication.

Requirements

* Strong video editing skills.
* Good understanding of history research and fact-checking.
* Ability to identify and avoid historical inaccuracies, anachronisms, and AI hallucinations.
* Experience sourcing historical photographs, archives, and reference materials.
* Attention to detail and storytelling ability.
* Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with documentary, educational, or history-focused content.
* Experience using AI video generation tools, especially Veo.
* Knowledge of image animation, restoration, or bringing historical photos to life.
* Familiarity with YouTube retention-focused editing.

Compensation

* $3-4 per edited minute of finished video.
