Video Editor

True AV is a full-service live-event production company in Utah. We provide audio, lighting, staging, and video for corporate events, festivals, galas, weddings, and concerts. We have a large library of already-filmed footage - timelapses, full event videos, speakers on stage, and client testimonials - that needs to become polished, scroll-stopping content.

The Role
You take our existing footage and turn it into content that sells. You will cut a hero reel for the website, build a library of short-form vertical clips, put together timelapses, edit client testimonials, and produce ad creative for our campaigns. This is an ongoing part-time role with steady weekly work, including footage from new events as it comes in.


Core Editing Work
• Edit existing footage (timelapses, event videos, stage/speaker footage, testimonials) into a polished hero reel for the website.
• Produce a library of 15sec short-form vertical clips (9:16) for social and ads.
• Cut client testimonial videos that build trust and proof.
• Built for ads: Create ad-creative versions and variations matched to campaign types (corporate, weddings, festivals).
Craft & Finishing
• Color correction, audio cleanup and sweetening, music selection, and pacing.
• Captions/subtitles, lower-thirds, and basic motion graphics.


Media Management & Cadence
• Organize and manage media files; maintain a tidy asset library.
• Deliver on a steady weekly cadence and take direction on cuts from the team.
• Edit footage from new events on an ongoing basis.

What We're Looking For (Must-Have)
• 2+ years of video editing experience with a strong portfolio or reel (required).
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong sense of pacing, music selection, and short-form hooks.
• Captioning/subtitling and basic motion graphics.
• Good media-management habits and ability to handle large files.
• Reliable internet capable of downloading and uploading large footage.

Nice to Have
• After Effects / advanced motion graphics.
• Event, concert, or corporate video experience.
• Sound design.
• Thumbnail and graphic design.

Tools You'll Use
Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, shared drive / cloud storage ( ---------- , Dropbox, or Google Drive).
