Video Editor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to turn raw footage into polished, professional videos. Using provided script notes, you will build rough cuts and add the text, B-roll, transitions, and sound effects that make each video stand out. We are looking for someone confident in Adobe Premiere and After Effects who is coachable and committed to quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build high-quality rough cuts from raw video files based on script notes
- Add text treatments and on-screen graphics to improve engagement
- Integrate B-roll footage to support strong visual storytelling
- Create and apply transition clips for smooth, professional pacing
- Layer in sound effects throughout each video
- Use AI tools to make the editing process faster and more efficient
- Work with the team to keep edits aligned with the creative vision
- Apply feedback and revise edits as needed

Mandatory Skills:
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Hands-on experience producing rough cuts from raw footage
- Strong abilities in text treatments, B-roll, transitions, and sound effects
- Comfortable using AI tools in a video workflow
- Coachable and eager to learn from feedback
- Clear communicator who works well with a team
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:
- Motion graphics and visual effects experience
- Color grading and audio mixing know-how
- Experience editing short-form or social media content
- Able to juggle several video projects at once
